My dear Rushie friends, I hope all is well with you and I have read several days back of your posts and I thank you for keeping me and the rest of us Rushies informed on Geoffrey Rush. How devoted you all are...I'm sadden that my miserable lifestyle and work has led me astray from my Rushie friends and from Geoffrey himself.
To my dear friend Cate!!! HOW HAPPY I AM FOR YOU, to have made it to the States!!! I hope you had a wonderful time on your first trip to America :DDDD
On another note, my heart had sunk that Sarah isn't doing well. I hope her health has not worsen :(

The best scenes in the "Intolerable Cruelty" movie that I compiled together for our "Rushie" viewing pleasure, has been removed from YouTube.
I know some of you here have been victimize by YouTube removing your videos and now I can join that club! I knew it would happen to me sooner or later. Now I can truly relate to your frustrations.

I feel more pissed, because it was my first time editing from an actually movie, so I had alot of trouble getting the editing just right and then I was having problems uploading it. Dailymotion immediately blocked me for copyright infringements, but it took 5 download attempts and 6 hours until I figured that out. Then I tried YT and it took an hour to download, but it worked...unitl now. To make matters worse, my original copy of that video file, which I had stored on my hard drive, was lost when my computer crashed a few months ago. My video is totally gone now. UGH!!!
They're pointing the finger at the copyright owner (Universal), but whoever is to blame I curse them with a lifetime of diarrhea!!! In the words of Donovan..."YOU WHORE!!!"
That concludes the end of my venting session for the day...thank you for reading.

My goodness, if it's not trains crashing into each other, it's now fires in my neighborhood. On Monday, fast blowing winds caused multiple fires that swept through southern California and 3 of those fires were right in my area. I board my two horses at a stable that was right in the path of the fire.
I was at work watching the News station on television, and they News was only showing one fire a few miles from my ranch, and I figured it was safe at the time and I'll go to the stables on my lunchbreak to check the hores. Suddenly, the News station goes to footage of another fire that just erupted right next to my stables!! At that same moment, I get a call from a friend saying "The ranch is on fire!! Get over here!!" Thankfully, I didn't get into a car accident on the way there with my erractic driving.
By the time I got there, my two horses were already evacuated, but I stayed to help evacuate the other horses and ponies. They had taken all the horses out of the stalls, and put them in the riding arena and turned on the water sprinklers, until the rescue horse-trailers got there. The smoke was so intense...I'm still coughing and having trouble breathing. When the last horse was loaded in a trailer, I then went to the refuge stables to find my two horses. I was relieved they were both OK and safe.
As the hills behind my stable were burning, embers were flying everywhere and one landed on a stack of hay bales and burst into flames! Right next to it were tack sheds (where boarders keep their tack and equipment) and two sheds were burned to the ground. Meanwhile, as the firemen fought the burning hay bales, myself and other boarders and volunteers evacuated horses out of the riding arena only a few meters from the flames. I was actually surprised how calm the horses were. They were nervous, but not freaking out.
We took the horses to a nearby college that had an equestrian department with corrals and they housed our horses for 24 hours until the fires passed our stable.
I'm happy to say no horses were hurt at my stable, but other stables weren't so lucky, I heard 3 horses died and a few people burned trying to rescue them. My horses are now back home and things are getting back to normal.
Here are two videos. The first video is my boarding stable catching fire. Checkout the young fireman, he is CUUUUUTE!!! My boarding stable isn't the nicest looking place, but it's cheap and they feed the horses well and it's close to my house.

(Sorry I couldn't embed the video, but the YT user disabled it).
This second video is us walking the horses down the highway to trailers. I'm the one walking two horses (a brown one and a black one) behind the big tall grey horse.
Now I have to spend the weekend getting caught up with my studies, I have a midterm on Monday and I haven't even studied at all.
Well, that explains why I haven't been around LJ lately. I hope the rest of you ladies had a better week then I did.
Have a good weekend everyone!!

Hello Girls!!
Sorry I haven't been around lately. This class I'm taking for night school is kicking my butt and it's taking alot of my free time away. I miss LJ, I miss my Rushie friends, and most of all, I miss my web sister, Cate .
I haven't posted an entry in a while, so my first one in a long time has to be of Barbossa. I'm happy that there will be another POTC and I hope we'll see alot of Barbossa and learn more about his character.

There was a terrible train wreck in my hometown of Chatsworth on Friday. A freight train hit a passenger train head on and killed 20 people . Ironically hours earlier I was riding my horse on the dirt path along the train tracks right where the accident took place. On weekdays, I usually ride my horse after work, around 4-5pm, but that day I took the morning off from work and rode earlier then usual. I'm so glad I did...the trains collided at 4:23pm and if I rode during my usual time, me and my horse could've been hurt or possibly killed. Aside from the train cars de-railing, debris went flying everywhere.
Today after the wreck, the police had many streets blocked off and they spent all day clearing out the wreck. I rode my horse on top of a hill and watched below, it was rather surreal to see such destruction...it looks much more dramatic in person then seeing it on the TV news.
It's going to be creepy to ride down that trail along the tracks again after this.

While on a short vacation to San Diego, I visited the Maritime Museum today(http://www.sdmaritime.org/index.asp ). I loved it !!!! :D
The HMS Bounty is there visiting for a few weeks. As we POTC fans know, the Bounty made an appearance in DMC and AWE. Most noticeable, it played the merchant ship that was destroyed by the Kraken and could also be seen at the dock, when Jack Sparrow was walking down the prier with those two ladies at the end of AWE.

I also saw the HMS Surpise that's been in a few movies, but mostly recognized for it's major role in Master and Commander.

Here's a pic of the Star of India, she said to be the oldest active ship in the world...over 160 years old and been around the world 22 times.

This evening I'm going to a different harbor for a sunset Tall Ship Parade and then tomorrow at the same harbor will be a pirate festival. The above ships are at a different harbor 60 miles away and will not be participanting in the festival tomorrow, since they already did a huge festival last month.
P.S. I just got back from the Tall Ship Parade...it was a long evening and the event was slow, but when the ships came into the harbor and fired their cannons, it made the long wait worth while.

I'm sorry for my mistake yet again... as it was pointed out to me, I left a scene out (Geoffrey as a tramp)...since the whole point of this video was to show Geoffrey's performance in this movie, I re-edited it and re-uploaded it. I'm sorry for my mistake...and I thank you for your patience and putting up with my repetition. I'm disappointed with myself and promise this won't happen again. :(

Originally, I was going to postpone my Barbossa Pic of the Week, so I could post a new video that I had been working on this weekend, but unfortuantely, I'm having trouble uploading it to Dailymotion. So here's our beloved Captain Barbossa, and hopefully, I'll get my new video up and running.
Ironically, I feel as Barbossa does in this pic...disappointed and confused that what I wanted didn't work. ;)
I hope you all had a nice weekend :)

Hello my dear Rushie friends!!! :)
Sorry I've been absent for so long. I had a surge of exams and finals starting from last week going into this week and I'm happy to say, I had my final exam tonight and I passed my course!! I'm so relieved!! I just completed my last and final math course I have to take in college. I'm so happy because I'm horrible in math and hate it with a passion.
I'm now rewarded with a nice break from night school until September 2nd!!! I wish I could take a holiday from my job, but since I worked less hours during the semester, I wasn't making much money, so I can't afford a holiday from work.
Even so, I can't wait to get back to my horses, work on my media projects, and watch Geoffrey movies again!!!! :D That's a holiday treat in itself!!!
I hope you all are doing well...I'm currently dancing on clouds and in my mind...with GEOFFREY!!!
See ya around LJ ladies!!!!

What a week!!!!! I'm glad it's the weekend, but I'm not glad that it's half over. I had a miserable week followed by food poisoning just in time for Saturday. I'm just now starting to feel better. I hope the rest of you had a better week then me.
Best wishes to you all!!!!

There's not enough hours in a day...I didn't get half of what I wanted to accomplish this weekend done. I feel like Barbossa in this pic: red-eye, tired, and frustrated. Now Monday is upon us, the busiest ugliest day of the week for me (as some of you may know :/ ). I better get to bed and get some rest.
Well, I hope you all had a pleasant weekend. Take care all and best wishes for the week!! :)

My laptop computer, that has all my Geoffrey pics and screen cap from his movies, crashed and won't work!!!!!!!!!!!!! That will explain why I haven't been around latley...I was trying to fit it myself...but no luck.
I'll try to save the hard drive before I take it in to be fix professionally...so wish me luck that I won't lose valuable "Geoffrey" data!
